I am angry beyond words. It is IMPOSSIBLE to a human on the phone to find out what the charge is that I am being called about. The automated system is garbage. It shouldn’t be this hard to have an actual conversation with a living being.
I have had a terrible experience with the 3rd party delivery and set up personnel that Sears subcontracts to for major appliance. I had a new electric range, dishwasher side by side refrigerator and a washing machine delivered and the service was absolutely poor. Here is the following list of items that were unacceptable:
1. Electric Range – It took them four (4) times to deliver a range that was not damaged and when they set the fourth (4th) range in place all they did was place an anti tip bracket in the new floor, pushed the range back in place and did not even attempt to level it.
2. Side by Side Refrigerator – The delivery personnel pushed the side by side refrigerator in place and I informed them that the top of the doors were uneven with one another. The delivery man said that when I placed items in the door the weight would pull the door down and then it would be even.
The plastic cover that surrounds the Freezer Door bottom pivot point protrudes 1 /4 inch out past the bottom of the freezer door. This needs adjusted.
The delivery personnel did not even make an attempt to level the entire refrigerator.
This is a poor excuse for supposedly an engineered product.
3. Mashing Machine – When the washing machine was delivered the men did not put it in the location where they removed the old washing machine from. They placed the new machine in a location so that they could use only four (4 foot ) supply hoses instead of using six (6 foot) long hoses which would have allowed them to place the new machine in the location where they had removed the old machine from.
It must be noted that the Assistant Store Manager (Andy) at the Belden Village Store in North Canton, Ohio finally corrected this issue with the hoses and I appreciate his taking care of the hose issue.
4. Dish Washer – I had no issue with the Dish Washer because I paid a licensed contractor to install the Dish Washer.
It appears to me that the 3rd party delivery and setup personnel that Sears employees only care about getting an appliance in the house and let the owner be responsible for the leveling out the appliances even though the consumer paid for delivery and set up.
I have had a sears card since 1973. Now they are threatening to close my account even though THEY closed the store in our town. To go to the nearest sears store is a100 mile round trip. Bad business. Why didn’t they revert back to sales catalog with small pickups stores? To order online is a horror,the local store couldn’t even do it, do you need help getting your shit together? ASK ME.
The installation of my washer dryer was careless and unsafe. Not only did they install them with both doors opening in, an annoyance, they installed them within a few inches of the gas line. With the normal movement of a washing machine it is now pushing against the gas line and the refuse to send someone to safely move the washer/dryer even though I explained there would be hook-up issues. I can’t just have someone shove them further away. I was shuttled to three different people, none of whom would take responsibility for this safety issue.
Your customer service sucks. No wonder your going under.
Sears should close down now. Appliances are the worst and three customer service is non existent. You call them and your in hold for hours only to be redirected. I will never viewer buy anything from sears or with the sears name on it. We purchased a refrigerator three years ago and it just died. I was told by the serviceman that’s it rebranded from LG. He then informed me LG has had a problem with their sealed,systems and give a 7 year warranty. Sears,gives you one year. Way,to go you bunch of thieves
I hate the last 45 minutes!!!!!! i need to apply for a Shop your Way credit card and none of your numbers will let me speak to a HUMAN BEING!

Just thought i’d say it again! i really dislike Sears. i need a refrigerator, washer and dryer and i did want to purchase them through you. but since its impossible to speak to someone i will have to go elsewhere. sears, you are bad bad news.
I WILL NEVER BUY FROM SEARS.COM AGAIN. I called in an order. I did not receive that order.Called customer support ha ha what a joke. The 72 hour period has gone into 13 days and I still have not received my money back. These people are cheats and liers and have no onor.EVERYONE THAT READS THIS DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!

Well I never shopped at sears before but after these reviews I guess I’ll let my friends and family know what’s going on. I hate to see company’s ok with complaints and never resolve anything. Pure laziness if you ask me (who cares if you don’t), it takes work to keep customers, and to keep them satisfied. After all I heard, looks like this company needs a foreclosure or be permanently closed. SEARS how do you sleep at night reading all this??? This is YOUR company!! Wake up or end up in debt.
Is there an address to get in touch with Sears customer service? I have been trying since August 2019 to get help for a gas grill that was delivered damaged. The delivery man took it back, assuring me I would get a replacement. No replacement ever arrived, no call from Sears, so a couple of weeks later I called my local Sears to find out the status. They gave me an 800 number to call. When I called that number they referred me back to my local Sears. This back and forth happened at least 2-4 times. My local store went out of business. I have continued calling Sears and have either waited for a long time and had to hang up because I had something else to do, or been disconnected, or have been transferred from one associate to another. Today I was on the phone for over an hour, transferred 3 times and finally someone seemed she would be able to help with the warranty portion. She told me she was transferring me to yet another appointment to talk to someone about a refund. I waited, and then was rerouted back into the original number I dialed. I am frustrated beyond words and no longer want to wait on the phone. Anyone with an address?
After reading all the negative responses re: Sears I am even more frustrated with your (service Dept?????????)-on hold forever-non-English speaking person and then put on hold again. I am contacting the BBB for our area and vow to never purchase anything from Sears again. Its a shame that a life-long customer is treated in such an uncaring manner. However, by reading all the other negative responses you frankly don’t give a darn. GOOD BYE and good riddance to a non-caring Corp.
I have been trying to get in contact with Sears to fix my broken refrigerator since November 9th of 2020 after a tech came out to evaluate the problem came back the next day stating the problem was resolved came back two days later stating it needed a part which would take 2-3 working days after waiting 2 weeksI called in excess of 20 times I begain to call Sears directly over 20 – 30 times have to talked to multiple people after waiting sometimes 50 to 60 minutes then either transferred another 30-40 minutes or hung up on I paid good money for warranty and I am being ignored father two months over the years I have brought thousands of dollars of stuff from Sears never again this is fraudulent and irritating
I am furious!!! I have an extended warrenty and my dryer has been out of service since the end of May! I have had 5 different scheduled appointments and no one has come to repair my dryer!! I was scheduled for a repair today and was never informed that I was again bumped due to the repair man calling in sick.I had to call to find this out!!! Now my next appiontment is July 27th. I said bump someone else and they had the nerve to tell me that would make someone else mad!!!!
