On Sunday 10/3 I called GEICO Roadside Assistance because I needed a jump start.
That was approximately 3pm.
1-800 841-3000 Message required me to download the APP.
I fumbled through it.
Finally, around 4pm I receive a text from a 615 area code that someone will be there in 90 minutes.
About 5:20pm the driver calls trying to find me. Turns out he is in Hebron, OH and I am in Carrollton, TX (Dallas,TX) Intersection Hebron & Old Denton Rd.
I have been sitting waiting for 2 1/2 hrs for nothing.

Luckily a tow truck just happened to stop around 6pm in the parking lot of Kroger and I asked for help.
I gave him $100 but failed to ask for a receipt. I'm sure he just took the money under the table anyway.

I was just too mad to think about it and yet happy to finally get out of there.

This is my takeaway of Geico's Roadside Assistance.
-Don't call unless it's normal business hours.
-You must use their App, there was no one to speak to that Sunday.
Not at 1-800-841-7300
Not at 1-800-424-3426-The message was "We are closed - our normal business hrs ... M-Fr"
-Just get a list of tow trucks/service providers in your area and keep that in your glove box.
-Find out how much GEICO will reimburse so you know the maximum you can pay the provider that YOU found.
-Always carry cash-you might not have an ATM nearby and the provider may not take a credit card.

But make sure you get that receipt!
Then GEICO will be glad to help you.

I understand you must have the $100 receipt.
But this entire problem started with your worse than poor service and has become a miserable experience I will enjoy sharing with others.
And under the circumstances I had hoped (expected) GEICO to do what is right.
I won't let this happen again.
